Billy was shown in Hunter Pleasure in 2007, attended a Working Cowhorse clinic with NRCHA Trainer and Judge Skip Brown, was ridden at a actual cattle branding, and trail ridden.  Billy takes on all of his tasks seriously, with enthusiasm and an excellent work ethic.  We look forward to a fun filled 2008.

Jamaica Moonshine is one of those rare individuals that regardless of color, will be an outstanding stallion.  He’s built on solid feet and legs, has a nice balanced body, topped with a gorgeous head, wide expressive eyes and a clean throatlatch that are attached to a well placed neck.  His fluid movement, athletic ability, and wonderful disposition leave nothing to be desired.

Names you’ll find in his pedigree are KRP Cocoa, Sunup Neptune, The Brown Falcon, Condo, Red Correll, Flyhawk, Senator Graham, Beamington and Upwey Ben Don as well as old Vermont breeding .

Hmstd Jamaica Moonshine has been tested at UC Davis and is homozygous black with one agouti gene.  Moonshine will never produce palomino or cremello foals regardless of what color mare he is bred to. He can only produce buckskin and smoky black  when bred to non dilute mares and buckskin, smoky black and perlino when crossed with dilute mares.
